(Chicago, IL) — A ruling is being made regarding an Illinois law setting how much can be donated by political action committees. A federal judge ruled Wednesday that the current state law that sets limits on the contributions is constitutional. The Illinois Liberty political action group filed a civil lawsuit, arguing the law infringes on free-speech rights.
