The Cardinals came back from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Reds 3-2.
The Reds got on the board first with a Bruce RBI and a Duvall RBI single to take a 2-0 lead in the first. The Cardinals slowly came back with a Moss RBI single in the top of the second to make it 2-1. Díaz had an RBI single in the sixth to tie the game at 2. Molina had the go ahead RBI single in the eighth to give the Cardinals the 3-2 win.
Wainwright pitched well and got the no decision. Wainwright gave up 2 runs on 2 hits while striking out 9 over 6 innings. Oh got his second win of the season. Reds starting pitcher Finnegan also got the no decision. Finnegan gave up 2 runs on 5 hits while striking out 7 over 7 innings. Ohlendorf took the loss in relief.
