JABAT of Olney and Richland County donated a 3D printer to Richland County High School.
Richland County High School Principal Chad LeCrone stated, “Richland County High School is very appreciative of JABAT’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community.” “We look forward to expanding our partnership with JABAT to help spark additional interest in the field of technical education.”
JABAT General Manager Rod Michels said, “JABAT Inc. is committed to our community and to building relationships within our schools. We wanted to help introduce technological advancements that are now available with 3D printing.” “We are investing in our community and our future workforce.”
The plastic fabrication company donated the printer to assist with “the ability to work with rapid prototyping models.” Businesses nationwide, like JABAT, are donating items to schools to help train skilled employees who will be ready join the workforce once they graduate.
RCHS is planning on utilizing the printer in their Trades and Industries classes.
