Local group, the Jed Adam Band, is set to release a new album on Saturday evening during a release party at the Effingham Knights of Columbus Hall beginning at 8. Effingham Radio News spoke to two out of four band members Jedidiah “Jeb” Adam and Bob Worman. The Band began with Adam and his friend Josh Morrison. The two had originally met at a church event and have been playing together ever since.
The fourth member of the group is Kyle Heynen. The band formed about a year ago and has been working on their current CD project which is named after the group since then. According to Adam, the CD was recorded in a Shelbyville friend’s home recording studio. The six songs were recorded in February of this year.
Adam said that he is inspired by 60’s and 70’s rock groups like Led Zeppelin and the Beatles.
The group’s album release party at the Effingham Knights of Columbus Hall is a free event. Their new album will be available at the event and via digital download. The Jed Adam Band will appear next at the Outer Limits Bar & Grill in Effingham on Saturday, June 11. More information about the band can be found on their Facebook!
