The Cubs scored first with a Baez RBI single and Montero RBI in the second to make it 2-0. Baez then hit a two run home run in the fourth to make it 4-0. The Dodgers got on the board with a Thompson home run in the fifth to make it 4-1. The Cubs came back with back to back home runs from Heyward and Bryant in the bottom of the fifth to make it 6-1. Seager had a sacrifice fly in the sixth to make it 6-2. Rizzo homered in the eighth to make it 7-2.
Hendrick got the win to go 4-4 on the season. Hendricks gave up one run on three hits while striking out six over eight innings. Urías took the loss, his first of the year. Urías gave up 6 runs on 8 hits over five innings.
