Two were injured when a truck-tractor and semi-trailer overturned on I-70 near mile post 71 on Thursday. The vehicle, driven by 22-year-Michael Diondre Booker of Indianapolis, was heading westbound on I-70 when Booker drove out of his lane onto the shoulder. When Booker attempted to get back into his lane, the semi-trailer overturned back onto the shoulder.
Booker, and passenger 24-year-old Isaiah Deshawn Booker also of Indianapolis were both transported to the Fayette County Hospital for treatment. The passenger was then flown to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
The driver is charged with Improper Lane Usage.
