The Southeastern Illinois Drug Task force in conjunction with the Illinois State Police and the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on a residence in Watson. The search warrant was issued as part of an ongoing investigation by the Effingham County Deputy. The investigation was to investigate the illegal production of methamphetamine in Watson.
After searching the residence, law enforcement found meth, guns, drug paraphernalia, and a meth lab. 36-year-old James Erickson, 33-year-old Dawn Erickson, and 22-year-old Michael Snyder, of Watson, were all taken into custody.
They are charged with Aggravated Participation, Methamphetamine Manufacturing, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Material, and Methamphetamine Child Endangerment.
