An elderly Robinson man that went missing Wednesday morning has been located. 85-year-old Charles Everingham had last been seen at around 8:00am Wednesday when he was driving his 2008 Dodge Dakota. Everingham was located Friday morning in a field south of Oblong. He was in his vehicle when he was found. Robinson Police said that Everingham was conscious and alert, but very thirsty. He was located by Deputy Todd Fear after a tip was provided by a utility worker. Everingham has been transported to a hospital to receive treatment.
Robinson Police thanked everyone involved in the search effort, saying the following on their Facebook page:
“This is an example of a community working together, and the public paying attention to detail. It is also a testament to never giving up. We didn’t, and Mr. Everingham certainly didn’t.”
