Christoper Koester has been named as the newest member of the Effingham Unit 40 Board of Education. Koester is an attorney at the local Taylor Law Office. He was selected to fill a vacancy on the Board that was created when Laurie King Borelli resigned. Borelli’s resignation was due to her moving out of the district.
Koester was selected from 13 candidates. The School Board approved the appointment to the Board during a special meeting Tuesday.
