The NHL is suspending Chicago Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw one game for yelling out a gay slur during Game Four of the team’s playoff series with the St. Louis Blues. The league has also fined Shaw five-thousand-dollars for directing an inappropriate gesture at officials in the same game. He will be required to undergo sensitivity training. Shaw will miss Thursday’s Game Five, with the Blackhawks trailing the best-of-seven series 3-1.
