The Teutopolis Lady Shoes softball team improved to 15-1 on the season with their 8-0 win over Windsor-Stew Stras on Thursday. The Shoes scored two runs in the first inning, and would add one more in the third. That was followed by a big fourth inning from T-Town, with the Lady Shoes knocking in five runs in the top of the inning.
Kadi Bories pitched seven shutout innings for Teutopolis. She allowed just three hits and struck out 9. Allison Apke had a three hit game for the Shoes. She also had three RBIs. The loss dropped Windsor-Stew Stras to 11-3. They’ll compete in a three game tournament this weekend at Ramsey. Teutopolis heads to St. Elmo-Brownstown for a game tonight.
