The University of Illinois men’s basketball team picked up a 84-71 Sunday against Minnesota.
The Illini trailed 40-32 at the half, but the orange and blue opened the second half on a 29-8 run on their way to the win.
Kendrick Nunn was the team’s leading scorer with 25, while Malcolm Hill added 22 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
Freshman Jalen Coleman-Lands hit five 3-pointers and finished with 18 points for Illinois. Illinois is now 13-16 overall and 5-11 in the Big Ten.
