Neoga senior EC Theis is now the school’s all-time leading scorer in school history. Theis scored 24 Thursday in the win over Dieterich, giving her 1,879 points in her career. The previous record of 1,859 was owned by Molly Hartke. Neoga won the game 68-46, improving to 21-7 overall and 6-1 in the National Trail Conference, finishing second in the conference. Dieterich fell to 8-19 overal and 1-5 in the NTC. The Neoga girls team will host a Regional next week, and will either face Cowden Herrick-Beecher City or Nokomis on Tuesday.
In other NTC girls action St. Anthony claimed the conference title. The Lady Bulldogs defeated Brownstown-St. Elmo 64-34 to complete a perfect 7-0 conference season. St. Anthony was led by Abby Weis and Emily McDevitt, each scoring 13. Abby Brown also had 12 for the Bulldogs. St. Anthony is the top seed in the Dieterich Regional, and will face either Nokomis or Dieterich on Tuesday.
