The Teutopolis Lady Shoes played at Effingham Friday, picking up the win 56-39. The Shoes led by 6 at the half, but used an 11 point advantage in the second half to pick up the 17 point win. Teutopolis held Effingham to single digit scoring in both second half quarters.
Teutopolis had three players in double figures, and were led by Molly Smith’s 13. Danielle Repking and Anna Hartke each had 12 as well. Effingham freshman Carsyn Fearday finished with 13 points.
With the win Teutopolis improved to 21-6. The Lady Shoes will be on the road Monday taking on Breese Mater Dei. Effingham is now 17-9 and will be at Salem on Thursday.
