Illinois bounced back from a blowout loss with an overtime win at Minnesota.The game was tied at 60 at the end of regulation, but the Illini had enough in the tank to outscore the Gophers 16-11 in overtime on their way to a 76-71 win.
Illinois was led by Malcolm Hill’s 28 points. The junior also had 10 rebounds. Maverick Morgan and Kendrick Nunn were also in double figures with 14 and 13 points each. Michael Finke also had a big game with 9 points and 16 rebounds.
With the win Illinois improved to 10-10 overall and 2-5 in the conference.
