FX’s Sons of Anarchy wrapped up its seven season run just over a year ago. The seven season show that followed the fictional Charming, California based motorcycle club had a number of unforgettable characters and moments. Perhaps no character represents the show better than Clay Morrow, one of the club’s founding members. Morrow is played brilliantly by Ron Perlman in the series, but Perlman wasn’t originally cast in the role.
Before Perlman, the role belonged to Scott Glenn. The show’s pilot episode had been shot when the change was made. Perlman was selected for the role and the opening episode was reshot. From there, Perlman went on to play one of the best characters on television in recent year.
