Former St. Louis Rams running back Isaiah Pead was arrested in Fayette County Wednesday night. The 26-year-old Columbus, Ohio native was pulled over by Vandalia police for speeding at 7:46pm. During the traffic stop police found that Pead had an outstanding warrant from Bond County for failure to appear. He was also ticketed for speeding, allegedly going 84 in a 70 mph zone. Pead posted bond and was released from the Fayette County Jail. The running back was drafted by the Rams in 2012. He was released in September of this past year.
