The unidentified juvenile facing charges related to the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Kaylee Jacob last October was in court Wednesday. Prosecutors are looking to bring the unnamed teenager to trial as an adult. A ruling on how the suspect will be tried in the case still has not been made though, because as of Wednesday’s appearance the results of a psychological examination have not been returned.
The suspect in the case is charged with involuntary manslaughter, reckless discharge of a firearm, possession of a stolen weapon, and burglary. The shooting is not believed to have been intentional.
The case will be back in court on Wednesday, January 27 at 2:00pm.
