In an effort to establish an initial damage assessment of the recent heavy rains and flooding in the area, the Effingham County Emergency Management Agency is asking for information from citizens who have suffered storm or flood damage since December 23rd.
This assessment applies to residents of Effingham County who have suffered uninsured damage to their property. This information is required in order to accurately analyze the extent of damage in the county.
Any individual who has had uninsured personal property damaged in the recent storms may report the damage to the Effingham County Emergency Management Agency by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by leaving a message at 217-540-1669.
The following information is required:
– Mailing Address
– Address of damage
– Type of structure (single family, apartment, business, etc.)
– If you own or rent the damaged property
– Depth of flooding in inches in basement or ground floor, and if it was in a living area
– Any structural damage
– Phone number
