It looks like Sheldon may never again be serenaded with his favorite “get better” song, Soft Kitty.
The studio behind The Big Bang Theory is being sued over the use of the song in both the show and merchandise. The plaintiff is Margaret Newlin, daughter of Edith Newlin who wrote the song called Warm Kitty, which Sheldon likes having sung to him when he’s sick. According to TMZ, Margaret Newlin claims that the studio made a deal with a music company to use the tune in the show, but not with her and her sister who own the song. Could this be the end of Soft Kitty?
