Scores for individual schools in Illinois based on the new Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) test are now available. The PARCC exam was given to 3rd through 12th graders this year for the first time, replacing the Prairie State Achievement Exam. According to the state Board of Education, only a third of students in Illinois met or exceeded learning standards with the new test. However, it was expected that scores would be low in the first year of the test to do adjustments and a change in how PARCC determines standards. The PARCC scores are available at www.Illinoisreportcard.com.
