Daniel Fleetwood has been a “Star Wars” fan since he was eight. He’s now 32-years-old and has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. His doctors gave him only two months to live after the diagnosis. Fleetwood’s last request is to see “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” before he passes away, but with the disease’s recent progression, he’s not sure if he’ll make it to the December 18th release date. So he’s requested to see the film early.
Fleetwood’s request has gone viral and even a few “Star Wars” actors like Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and John Boyega are on board along with J.J. Abrams’ production company, Bad Robot Productions. Ultimately, the decision is up to Disney as to whether or not Fleetwood will get to see the film. May the Force be with Daniel Fleetwood.
