The Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation is now accepting applications from non-profits located within its service area for the 2016 Nonprofit Capacity Building micro-grant program. Organizations in Clark, Clay, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Effingham, Fayette, Jasper, Lawrence, Richland and Shelby counties that are members of GoodWORKSConnect are eligible to apply.
Nonprofit Capacity Building micro-grants provide a maximum of $1,500 to defray the cost of professional development for staff and board members in order to improve the management, board participation, governance, fundraising, and leadership of the applicant organization.
The 2016 application submission deadline is Tuesday, November 24. Awards will be announced in January, 2016. Applicants must be a member of GoodWORKSConnect (www.goodWORKSconnect.org.) in order to apply. A more detailed list of requirements as well as the online application can be found HERE.
