Why not use your back as an personal ad? That’s what a newly single 30 year old marketing professional from Chicago did for the Chicago Marathon on October 11th. He was relaxing with some bourbon when he thought of the idea. He handed the design over to his cousin to write the message on his skin in permanent marker. Then on the next day ran in the Chicago Marathon with his shirt off. Turns out the idea worked! Over the next hours and days he received 12 Facebook friend requests from women who saw him on the course. Not all of them had ran in the race. Last friday he met up with one of the women that reached out to him, she was a fellow marathoner who was watching the race with a sign that read “My Mom is looking for a #CatDad.” Wonder if he is ready for that type of commitment.
