Almost everyone was excited when McDonald’s announced that they would serve breakfast all day. I know I was one of those people. Turns out though that the transition to serving breakfast all day hasn’t been as smooth as hoped.
Slower service times crowded kitchens are among the problems that have arisen. Financially the decision hasn’t paid off either. The move to an all day breakfast menu hasn’t brought in new customers, and those returning are just ordering the cheaper breakfast sandwiches, rather than the more pricey burgers.
