The Friends of St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital announces their name change to HSHS St. Anthony’s Foundation to better reflect their role as the philanthropic arm for HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital. As the “Friends,” HSHS St. Anthony’s Foundation has been serving the Effingham community for nearly three decades, providing the community a local avenue for community giving and volunteering to ensure the best health care possible for Effingham and the entire Central Illinois region.
“While our name has changed, the mission of HSHS St. Anthony’s Foundation remains the same.” Director of Philanthropy Michael Wall said. “Every dollar raised by the HSHS St. Anthony’s Foundation directly impacts the patients we serve in our community by funding the latest medical breakthroughs and innovations, health care education, preventive health practices and more. Through the efforts of the Foundation and our dedicated supporters, we are helping secure a healthier future.”
The HSHS St. Anthony’s Foundation is an integral part of the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis Foundation, which supports 14 HSHS hospitals throughout Illinois and Wisconsin, and assures that all funds raised in the Effingham area stay local and are appropriately administered to provide the greatest impact for our community.
