Effingham Tourism Director Jodi Thoele and Hobnob Harvest Market Event Coordinator Holly Snelling stopped by the studio to talk about this weekend’s event.
The Hobnob Harvest Market, a pop-up event of 140+ hand-picked vintage and handmade vendors, will be coming to Tuscan Hills Winery in Effingham this weekend on September 11 & 12. This event will feature shopping, live music, wine, and delicious food.
Vintage and handmade vendors from 10 states will set up village-fair style on the winery grounds. The vintage finds at the market range from rustic farmhouse to industrial to mid-century to shabby chic. Talented handmade artisans sell stylish goods including repurposed furniture, jewelry, clothing, and imaginative home décor. Hobnob Market vendors treat their spaces like mini shops and arrange mouthwateringly creative, boutique-style displays.
Jodi Thoele, Director of Tourism for the City of Effingham, said, “We are excited for another year of the Hobnob Harvest Market in Effingham. Last year we had people from all over the Midwest come to Effingham to experience this vintage and upscale market. I can’t wait to see what the event has in store for us this year. I know Tuscan Hills Winery will be the place to be, with over 140 vendors, live music, fantastic food and fun for everyone.”
