The Wisconsin man facing felony drug charges in Effingham County has had his bond lowered.
26-year-old Ian Snow of Madison was in court Tuesday, where he saw his bond lowered from $100,000 to $10,000. Snow must pay 10% of his bond amount to be released. Effingham County Public Defender Scott Schmidt, who is representing Snow, said that the bond was previously set in an amount that could not be paid.
In other action Tuesday, Snow’s July 6th trial date was vacated. Trial is now set for October 5th, with a pretrial hearing on September 22.
Snow is charged Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Class X Amount, with the substance being L.S.D. He was found with more than 150 blotters of what is suspected to be L.S.D. after being pulled over in April for speeding in a construction zone. He is also facing a felony charge for possessing over a gram of heroin at the time of the arrest.
