The powerful force of the sun.
I went with my family to Holiday World on Saturday to have a fun relaxing day. My fiance told me to be sure to put on sunscreen. I said that I don’t need it because one I don’t burn. The second reason was because it was really cloudy out.
As the day went on we were having a great time riding the rides and enjoying the water park. When it was time for lunch I sat down and my fiance had a shocked look on her face. I asked her what was wrong. She replied that my skin was red. I said no way. She then showed my on her cell phone that yes my skin was bright red. I had gotten burned, but not just on my arms. It was all over my torso and back. My feet even got sunburned. I didn’t even know that was possible. It was so bad that when we got home I was throwing up and shaking. It was the worst night of my life.
This is a reminder that even if you think you can not get burned, you can. Be sure that if you are going to be outside to put on sunscreen. I learned that the hard way.
