The FBI is investigating the Cardinals for allegedly hacking into the database of the Houston Astros. It’s believed they used passwords of current Houston GM Jeff Luhnow, who used to work in Cardinals’ scouting department, to gain access to stats, reports and trade discussions.
The Cardinals issued a statement over the ongoing investigation. The team acknowledged the probe and says it has fully cooperated with the investigation and will continue to do so. No members of the Cards’ front office have been charged.
